Theme: A CALL TO HOLINESS. This is our theme throughout the summer. We are offering: a Day of Renewal; an Areawide Prayer meeting; and a Healing Mass. We invite you to attend one or all of these sessions.

Our first event is May 9, 2026 at St Anthony Church, Francis Hall. Fr. Theo Lange will be our presenter.  He will be talking about Parish Evangelization of youth and young adults, Parish Renewal, and Spiritual Warfare.  How can we make our parishes more vibrant, active, and encourage our youth. Fr Chuck Wood will be our moderator. There will be prayer ministry between 2:20 p.m. and 3:20 p.m. in the form of small prayer teams. We are going to ask Encounter Ministries to help us with the intercessory prayer.

We will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 3:30 p.m.  PLEASE bring you own lunch, we will be offering breakfast snacks and coffee, tea, and water. There will be a free will offering opportunity; and in lieu of our giving a stipend to the church (which we always do), they are asking for canned food for their poor and homeless ministry. So, if you could bring a couple of cans of food,  St Anthony’s and WOCCR’s would really appreciate it.

Our area-wide Prayer Meeting is on July 25, 2026 at St Patrick’s Dowd Hall in Canby, OR. It will look like a normal prayer meeting with hopefully many prayer groups as well as individuals being represented. We are still working on a presenter. It will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. Encounter Ministries will be included in the prayer teams at the end of the session. There will be breakfast snacks and beverages.

As soon as we fill in the blanks and produce a flyer, I will send a “Save the Date” message to you.

The Healing Mass will be held on August 22, 2026, at St Anne’s Church in Gresham, OR. Fr. Cary Reniva, the Pastor of St Annes, is very charismatic and will be celebrating our Mass. Fr  Chuck Wood will concelebrate. Mass will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at about 1:00 p.m. There will be several prayer teams and of course Fr Cary and Fr Chuck will be at the altar.

There are several other opportunities this summer.

• The Vietnamese Community is sponsoring a three day  “Healing Prayers Training” session at St Anthony’s in June.  It will be bilingual.
• We are now collaborating with ShalomWorld Ministries. They are offering a 3-day retreat in August and three Healing Masses in September.
• We are also collaborating withEncounter Ministries. They will offer a three-day Summer Intensive Conference in late July.

Information on these events will be added to our events calendar as it becomes available.
