Yvonne Krill was a Spirit-filled, faithful vessel of God’s Word, artistic, caring, kind, loving, and graceful dancer.  A true gift to us all.  These are just a few of the words friends and family use to describe Yvonne Krill, who ascended to Heaven Friday, March 4, 2022, after being diagnosed with lymphoma, nine months prior. Yvonne Krill She was a devout member of Our [...]

WOCCR News — March 2021

Dear Members of the Charismatic Renewal, Our Liaison, Fr. Chuck Wood offers this teaching for our edification and encouragement. Conquer (Yourself) Overwhelmingly through Christ. Brothers and sisters: What will separate us from the love of Christ? Will anguish, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or the sword? No, in all these things we conquer overwhelmingly through him who loved us.  Romans 8:35, 37 The rousing declaration above, “… we conquer overwhelmingly,” is likely more familiar as, “… we are more than conquerors.” This fresh wording is from the official translation for English-language Masses [...]

WOCCR News — January 2021

Dear Friends of the Charismatic Renewal, The Lord keeps telling me that 2021 is going to be a very busy year for the Renewal.  I am anxious to see what He does. With God’s help, WOCCR is planning two events this year. The first is a Day of Renewal with Fr. Tim Furlow.  It will be virtual as we are still not out of the woods with COVID-19.  Many of you watch the Holy Mass via Facebook or U-Tube streaming and that is what we plan here.  The date is April 24, 2021.  And probably [...]

WOCCR News — August 2020

Dear Members of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal, Glory to God who is all good and deserving of all our love and praise.  We are in his hands and he is in control.  All we have to do is seek his face and everything will fall into place in his time.  The pandemic and the riots will pass.  Nothing is permanent in this life but God.  Most of us are staying home and out of harm’s way due to age or health.  It is a perfect time to be enriching our lives with online LIS seminars, daily you tube videos, [...]

WOCCR News — July 2020

Dear Friends of the Charismatic Renewal, Caroline Doening Caroline Doering It is with much sorrow that I have to tell you that our beloved friend of so many years has gone home to the Lord.  She will ever be remembered as a Holy, Godly person who never met a anyone she didn’t love, mentor, teach, pastor and support. WOCCR News — May 2020

Dear Friends of the Charismatic Renewal, Because of the Pandemic, people are having to do things a little differently.  This can be a real gift, if you look at that way.  For instance, many of our prayer groups are very small -- too small really, to be able to conduct a Life in the Spirit (LIS) Seminar without help. The Ark and the Dove Retreat Center (where the Catholic Charismatic Renewal began in 1967). is offering an online LIS for free, beginning May 24, 2020.  It will not be lived streamed but recorded and put on their website (YouTube [...]

Dear Friends in the Charismatic Renewal. Changes caused by the Coronavirus. Have you ever had a project to do and kept putting it off because you didn’t know what to say or how to do it?  And then months later, something happens, and you realize that it just wasn’t time to do that project.  It was a God thing.  Well that is what this information letter turned out to be. In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic there are things we cannot do to remain safe.  There are also many services being cancelled, temporarily.  If you have not seen [...]
