Save the Date(s) — Spring 2026
Please Save the Date(s) because this year is going to be very busy. In addition to three WOCCR events there are a number of other organizations who are planning events: retreats; Life in the Spirit seminars; and mini conferences. It is an awesome thing to watch. Maybe, finally, the most unchurched or almost unchurched state in the union is waking up. God willing, let it be so.
Life in the Spirit Seminar — Tuesdays, April 14 to May 19, 2026

Day of Renewal — May 9, 2026
WOCCR invites you to a Day of Renewal at St Anthony’s Francis Hall in Tigard from 10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. with Fr. Theo Lange. Please see the flyer “A Call to Holiness“. To RSVP, please scan the QR Code ( Bottom right corner of the flyer). This will help us to know how many are planning to attend. Admission is free.

Healing Prayers Training Seminar — June 26 to 28, 2026

A “Healing Prayers Training” seminar will be held St. Anthony’s Parish, Francis Hall, in Tigard, OR.
The Vietnamese Community, two members of which are on the WOCCR Service Team have invited the following presenters: Bishop L. Peter Smith, Archdiocese of Portland, OR; Fr. Chuck Wood, Pastor, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish in Portland, OR; Fr. John Hendersen, Pastor, St. Anthony’s Parish; Fr. Peter Hoang, Parochial Vicar, St Anthonys; and, Fr. JB Son T. Dinh, from Montreal, Canada. Fr. Jose Maniyangat, Jacksonville, FL will be giving his testimony about being raised from the dead.
This seminar will be simultaneously translated in Vietnamese, English, and Spanish.

Sacred Liturgy Conference — June 29 to July 3, 2026
Join us for the 14th annual Sacred Liturgy Conference hosted by the Dominican Friars of the Western Province in the Archdiocese of Portland in Oregon.
It will take place at Holy Rosary Church from June 29 to July 3, 2026. The conference brings together nationally recognized scholars, leading theologians, philosophers, and artists to illuminate how God’s will is expressed through the Church’s teaching, art, architecture, and music.
There are more events in July, August, and September. I will send out another SAVE the DATE later in the Spring. WOCCR will host an Area Wide Prayer meeting on July 25 at St Patrick’s in Canby and a Healing Mass at St Anne’s in Gresham on August 22. More info on those in next SAVE the DATE.
