This newsletter provides news and reminders of upcoming Summer events that will help you grow in faith and in the spirit. They include Healing Masses, a seminar and information on the 51st Annual Catholic Summer Institute.

Thank you so much to all who attended the May 31^st Day of Renewal.  It was an amazing day, with worship, wonderful videos by Fr. Dave Pivonka, discussion and prayer.  Thank you to all the volunteers  who made that day possible. There will be a follow up day for those who attended if enough people are able to join.

There will be a Healing Mass on Monday, July 14, celebrated by Fr. Hans, Pastor of St. Juan Diego Church. The Divine Mercy Chaplet will begin at 5:45 p.m. and Mass will begin at 6:00 p.m.  ShalomWorld Ministries will be sponsoring this opportunity. Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church.

July 18, 2025 — Shepherd of the Valley Catholic Church, Central Point, OR.

Sandy Dinius and her prayer group are sponsoring a Healing Mass in Central Point, OR, given by ShalomWorld Ministries and WOCCR. The Divine Mercy Chaplet begins at 6:15 p.m. and Mass begins at 6:30 p.m. Our Liaison, Fr. Chuck Wood and Fr. Hayden Williams from ShalomWorld will concelebrate at Shephard of the Valley Catholic Church at 600 Beebe Road, Central Point, OR  97502.

If you would like to attend and live out of town there are two nice motels in the area: Super8 and LaQuinta. Both are close to the church.

July 14-18, 51st Annual Catholic Education Retreat – an educational and spiritual Catholic Retreat – stay the week, come as a commuter, or join us for a partial stay.  This is designed especially for all who work/volunteer in Catholic education/faith formation ministry but is perfect for anyone who wants to deepen their prayer life, grow stronger in their Catholic Faith, or desires more peace and joy in their life.

Institute presenters: Sr. Johanna Paruch, F.S.G.M., Ph.D., Dr. Anthony Lilles, S.T.D., Fr. Dan Pattee, T.O.R., and Pia de Leon.

Sessions: All sessions are from 7:15 to 9:15 p.m. on July 14-17, 2025. There will be be new topics and different speakers each evening.

Retreat hosted: Franciscan Missionary Sisters of Our Lady of Sorrows at Our Lady of Peace Retreat, Beaverton, OR.

Institute is open to EVERYONE!

Cost: $10 per lecture.

Our Portland Vietnamese CCR will be presenting a Seminar a Healing Training Seminar in Fort Worth, Texas on July 27 – 28, 2025.
