This Prayer Meeting will have time for lots of Praise and Worship music, some testimonies, prophecies (God Willing), and Ministry. Christ the King Parish will be hosting us. We will begin with Holy Mass. You can bring snacks if you wish. You won’t be able to eat in the church, but there will be breaks.
Welcome to this years Rosary Bowl NW. The agenda includes: Holy Mass; Holy Rosary; Confessions; community information tables; Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Adoration; and the Rosary Bowl Keynote by Father Brian Mullady, OP.
Come, Let Us Drink of One Spirit! “For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body … and we were all given to drink of one Spirit.” (1 Corinthians 12:13) In the world, in the Church, and in the Renewal, we are parched. We long for our thirst to meet Jesus’ thirst … we long to be satisfied. “As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God.” (Psalm 42:1)
CHARIS sponsors a special opportunity to be formed in spirit and in truth with the most outstanding preachers of the Integral Formation Program, followed by thousands of people in more than 100 countries. It covers topics both from the Charismatic spirituality, as well as those emphasized by the Church. The course has been recommended by Pope Francis who will be with us together with Fr Raniero Cantalamessa O.F.M.Cap., among others.
The Archdiocese of Portland is collaborating with the John Paul II Healing Center to offer a “Healing the Whole Person” conference, Thursday and Friday evenings and all-day Saturday. Fr. Chuck Wood, the Archdiocesan Liaison for Charismatic Renewal, is on the Core "Prayer and Planning" Team for these events.
The Equip the Holy Ones for the Work of Ministry session will be presented by Fr. Jim Northrop. Additional information will be posted as it becomes available.
